With schoolwork bearing down on my time
I'm afraid I've had to draw the line.
Unfortunately my contest [link] entry didn't make the cut
as I hunkered down in my homework rut.

I hope the professor won't think less of me.
If I'm lucky she'll only use Thunder III. ; ;
But to make the grade it's a price I must pay
I just couldn't find any other way.

I still intend to finish, just not right now.
I may have lots of work to do, but this I make my vow.
